You can have it with gravy, cranberry sauce, or both! If you have never made dressing or have not found a dressing you love, then look no further. Here is a dressing recipe that you can use for all future Thanksgiving Dinners.

  • 1 pan of skillet cornbread
  • 4 slices of bread torn into pieces
  • 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 3 hardboiled eggs, chopped
  • 1/3 cup of butter
  • 1 cup of chopped celery
  • ½ cup of chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons of ground sage
  • 1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

You will want to preheat the oven to 450 °F. Next, you will coat a baking dish that is 13×9 with no-stick cooking spray. In a medium skillet, you will melt the butter on medium-high heat. Next, add the onion and celery, cooking until they are tender. You can set this aside.

In a large bowl, you need to combine the cornbread, bread pieces, poultry seasoning, sage, pepper, and salt. You will then pour in the broth, onion mixture, and beaten eggs. Lastly, you will add the hardboiled egg pieces. Be sure to stir thoroughly, then pour the entire mixture into the coated baking dish. You will then bake the dressing for at least 30 minutes.
